Today we hike to Lava Tower Camp - which is at 15, 213 feet above sea level. This is the highest altitude either JT or I have ever experienced. The air is pretty thin up there! The hike is the toughest yet - but not too bad. Once we get to camp, we have time for a rest, then an optional climb up Lava Tower.Thursday, June 26, 2008
January 30, 2008 - Lava Tower - This is getting serious!
Today we hike to Lava Tower Camp - which is at 15, 213 feet above sea level. This is the highest altitude either JT or I have ever experienced. The air is pretty thin up there! The hike is the toughest yet - but not too bad. Once we get to camp, we have time for a rest, then an optional climb up Lava Tower.

Did you all really hike that close together most of the way? That surprises me.
