We arrive after 2 days of flying to Kilimanjaro International Airport and stay at the beautiful KIA Lodge, a mile away. A hot shower and comfortable bed (complete with mosquito netting) sure felt good after all that time on the plane!
Although we are tired, both of us are full of anticipation. Tomorrow we will meet our guides, and beging the journey that has been a 5 year goal. This is what we've been killing ourselves at the gym for!
